Certified
Doctors, nurse practitioners, and PAs who do DOT physicals must be Certified Medical Examiners, having completed course work, study, practice, and the certification exam. Dr. Bob Hayden has been a certified DOT Medical Examiner since it became a requirement in 2013.
Secure
Physical exams are performed in the office in accordance with the department of transportation regulations. Records of these exams are kept in a secure location for two years in accordance with our office privacy policy and DOT regulations.
Easy
Typically, D.O.T. Medical Exams are available on walk-in basis with minimal waiting. A copy of the completed physical form and the Medical Examiner's Certificate are provided after the exam.
